Sorry guys, but Prairie City is definitely not worth the trip from the bay area. I would find somewhere else to go. Was just out there a couple weeks ago and was quickly reminded why we call it Prairie Sh**ty.

really all it has is a few obstacles-- most of which are too difficult for IFS trucks. The rest is just a very small amount of very dry and dusty dirt paths with some really small weak hills. Really its not worth the gas coming from my house. the place is more oriented to bikes and quads.

coming from the bay area i would much rather hit hollister hills or make the full trip up to the good trails. maybe eagle lakes or bear valley.
