The 20th sounds good Chris, I'm not heading up north until mid December. Hopefully I can get my 231mm brake upgrade by this weekend. Im dying to conquer the driveshaft hill and prove to Eric's quote to 4-Ripcord Im not just on the bypass road all the time since the last I was there.
It'll be fun just like the last time we were there.

You guys could always camp out the night before. There's a campsite right off 80 at eagle lakes.

I haven't run Eagle Lakes in a few years and it's time I'm back out there. Oh and if any of ya all are worried, I did this trail totally stock. Granted, it was the trail I got my 1st carnage on but that's because of several things. One, I went off trail. Two, I was wheeling alone. And three, when riding alone in a 4x4, with no other spotters, if you get carnage, you gotta accept it! Anyway, if you gentlemen will accept the company of a lady wheeler, and her Labrador, I'd love to play along!
Still had my t4r.org sticker on the window and everything in this old photo.

Don't want to be a Sour Sally-more like I'm sharing this for those who don't live up here.
Getting to be that time of the year the weather starts to become unpredictable. Right now the 20th looks to be clear. The 27th is too far out still to show. I'm available either date, but if the 27th looks to be like a rainy or snow day, we'll have to check with the forest service to make sure the trail is open. Remember the Greenies don't want us wheeling on wet trails & on that trail I'd expect enforcement. Oh and the 27th will be day 3 of the World Series. Go Giants! lol
Right now the trails are open & you can clearly see where they are. But soon they won't be and it'll be hard to see where you are going. As if there was a frisbe covering your eyes. tee hee

I could be in for the weekend of the 27th or 28th. Preferably the 28th (Sunday) since I work late on Friday and getting up early on Saturday would be tough.
What location? Would it still be Eagles Lake?

As much as I would like to run this trail with you guys as I said before, I've been thinking and I don't think I'll be able to join you. I wouldn't want to risk major damage before my long distance trip upcoming December. In addition to the other preparations I need to take care of before I leave.
Hope you guys understand and have fun if you go on the weekend of the 27th. Don't forget to post a lot of pictures!
