lifted and leveled about 2"

20x9 kmc xd monster 18 offset
285/55/20 nitto terra grapplers.

I ordered a 5mm spacer for the front because i get very slight rubbing on the control arm on full lock turns. besides that, everything is tits!!

Hmm I went to RMS on ocean ave in Bohemia and he (the owner) basicly talked me out of it, said it was no good for the stock x-reas. I was going to do the daystar 2.5/1.5 with BFG 265/65/R18 with the diff drop and he didnt recommend messing with it. The truck shop in Sayville was no help either, didnt seem like they knew what they were talking about. So I havent touched it yet. Your rig looks nice and smittys looked nice and peaceful!

Yea I spoke to the owner of RMS once on reference from someone else. Yes he knew his information, but he was SO RUDE that I decided that day I would never give him a dollar of my money EVER. Dont get me wrong, is a level kit the best way to lift a truck? No I'm sure it isnt. But for an inch or 2, maybe it adds a little wear and tear but LOTS of people do level/minor lift kits and have no issues. I was basically asking RMS for advice and the guy was loud, obnoxious and SUPER ARROGANT. I've been moding cars and bikes for awhile now and after alot of research I still did it. I dont notice ANY negative side effects as of yet.

The truck shop isnt much better, they wanted 400$ MORE then the place I had do it, which was 250$. These truck places have been doing this so long that they've lost the ability to deal with newbies. I dont offroad, the most I do is drive on the beach every other weekend in the summer and go snowboarding in VT over the winter. I did this more for the look and I wasnt going to spend 5000$ on doing some crazy lift setup. I didnt need or want that.

Listen man, if you like the idea, go with a cornfed kit or something and just let it be
 
corfed is more than decent if you want want a few inches and you dont offroad, i ran it for a year and i actually still have it in my garage if anybody wants it
 
I know both of those shops. Unless you are looking to do a monster lift they will be of little help. I am istalling my TOYTEC coilover kit this weekend. Do most of my work myself and have a shop I deal with when I get in over my head.
