Beast Comes Back

Should be getting the Beast back from the body shop soon. They will have fixed the dent/scrape and put on the new color matched grille. any tips on taking care of the newer paint and the grille appreciated.

if you're going long distance tape up the front using painter's blue tape.

New paint is softer at first, but will ultimately be more durable than original factory after a day or two. If the shop used a heated booth, it will be fully cured from day one. Usually, refinished areas carry a guarantee against paint defects, be sure to check with the shop. No special care is needed, they may tell you not to wax it for the first few weels. Do not put any tape on it. Blue tape or masking tape is a pain to remove after being left on for a long time or in the sun or rain.
