dang, did you reset it while coasting down a long long hill in neutral?

Mine once peaked at 52.x mpg after resetting it. I was cruising on an open highway. It quickly dropped down to 4x mpg, then 3x mpg, then 28mpg, then gradually down to ~23mpg. Punch the gas and it drops dramatically to 17mpg or less 
I tend to reset it alot to see what mpg I'm getting at that particular moment, like climbing a steep grade, etc. Nowadays it costs me over $50 to put in about 20gal each fill-up, I've tried to be less aggressive behind the wheel. The RANGE used to show 426miles the 1st month I had her, then 380-390 afterwards. Now, I'm refraining from mashing the pedal, recently the RANGE went up to 405miles. Contributing factors: reprogramming my brain and taking my Megawarrior w/extn basket off (way too much drag)
P.S.- Anyone else messed up the time on the clock by accidently pressing the clock (minute) button which is so damn close to the RESET button

LOL. I did that a couple times... right after I got a tank of gas and reset the computer.... went straight to a highway and cranked that mpg or L/100km up all the way.
Now, I don't reset it as I want a good all around average as resetting it always gives me anywhere from 12.4L/100km to 16L/100km.

prozac, the thing that upsets me the most is i usually do a lot of city driving..i would go once in a while to linden,va but thats about it. oh ya, i always put premium vpower on it @ shell..i know its a waste but i could use the extra ooommmpphh..lol why didnt you go to the meet? i always wanted to compare an 04 V8 with an 05 one
