Actually the grip is baddass because it creates a ribbed texture. It honestly doesn't bulken it up too much.

i kinda dig it, in fact i kept my old wheel in case i wanted to wrap it somehow. its got squishy foam on it that could be removed so you'd end up with a normal-ish sized grip.

I'm curious too, i told the shop it had to be tough, but since they did such crappy work who knows what I got. My biggest concern was getting rid of the flakey original wheel, if this one's gray starts to show up I'll just sharpie it lol.
