I'm lovin' that truck too - is that a factory color? Never seen one with that color combo, it's very appealing. Down here in South Louisiana, the market is really strong for third gen 4Runners, they do not go cheap. I've seen 2wd '98s and '99s selling in the $4-$6K range a lot, just depends on mileage and condition.

If you could get that truck for around $4K, I don't think I would hesitate on it and the mileage wouldn't be that big of a concern. Budget spending about $1500 on it over the next year for maintenance and it'll serve you well for years to come.

Pretty sure it's one of the factory colors but i'm not an expert on the color options by any means.

Don't know if he would have come down to $4k or not but he certainly wasn't yesterday. There just seemed to be too many "little" things in my opinion to warrant that and he's been trying for a year at this point to sell it. He's still listing the mileage on CL as what it was a year ago and not current mileage.

So it's a little odd in some respects.

I may regret it in a few weeks but I suspect he'll refresh the listing again next week as has been the pattern.

Yes, the paint job is factory. It is called, "Autumn Blaze Metallic," and was only offered in 1999.
I think its a really cool color, just look at [MENTION=67615]Dirtco[/MENTION]'s rig. His autumn blaze truck is nasty!

I agree with what everyone has said so far. No more than 3k. Unfortuneately, it seems that a lot of times there is always someone willing to shell out more for something than what it's worth. Just the nature of the beast.

If he doesn't accept that then you should probably ask why?

I have found KBB to be far off in that KBB over values the vehicle.

Man trucks from the south are clean underneath, up north we got rust on our rust. Hope it works out, T4R is a special machine. Mine eats up a lot my cash and drinks too much, but I love it no matter. Other posters are giving you good advice- don't buy it unless you pay less than 4K.

Glad I checked back tonight as I've been wondering if I messed up on this one. If I see him post it again this week I might circle back around on it and go up some maybe.
