From the SF bay area on a 99 3rd Gen sr5 5speed nothing too radical since it's my everyday ride. But that's how we all started then the next mod gets added after the next mod.

Good to see another manny tranny over here. Post up some pics or a link to them if you get a chance...
One of my first mods was the hood struts.
I never did understand why our gen Runner did not come with them, it's a functional and classy update. Not particularly difficult and some folks modded up their own.

the mods are minimal, Deck plate mod, Iridium plugs, OME firm with the expedition rear springs. Rock sliders, 87 series procomp toyota steelies with 265/75/16 Khumos ATs.. I lucked out the original owner was a stickler and used synthetic oil top to bottom from day one. Did all the required up keep when needed. I wanted a 5speed since I came off from a Land Rover Discovery manual tranny which was a great off roader but lousy daily driver.
