Picked up this nasty habit in May and have been working on it ever since. Currently its in for paint (Astro Blue with white SS stripes).

Its a 70' Malibu that I picked up for $2500. Its fairly rust free and after a battery, water pump, alternator, a good carb cleaning, and plugs it ran! I stripped it down myself and towed it over to have it media blasted with walnut shell in the crooks and crannies I couldnt get to.

Cant wait to get it back!

Its been a heavy load for the runner, but it handled it well. The OME rear springs and shocks definatly came in handy when towing it from place of purchase to home, then to media blaster, than to body shop. I was hesitant at first, but I came away impressed.

2500 is a steal for that car especially since the body looks nice and straight. What kinda heat is she packing? 350?

Yea, it has the 350/TH350 combo. Not sure whats been done to the engine, I had the valve covers off to look at the stampings and it had Comp Cams pushrod retainers on it so I assume it has a Comp cam as well?

It also has a Weiand Stealth intake, Edelbrock Carb, HEI, and Hooker headers.
