Being followed

Well we haven't seen that Dodge Magnum again. But the police officer never called us back like he said he would, he was going to investigate the business address. My wife is now taking different routes home every day and were thinking of buying a taser.

A tazer will no good unless she is close enough for it to reach the suspect and if they are that close I would rather shoot the person if they are aggressive at that point. You know it is possible to shoot someone and not kill them...

It sounds like the cops are worthless as they usually are unless they need to write tickets and you need to protect yourself. What I would do is park your car opposite of hers in an inconspicuous spot and wait until she pulls out and then follow her. If that car follows her call her on her cell phone or use 2-way radios to direct her to a place where you can box the car between yours and hers. Be prepared for a confrontation and maybe even videotape the incident. If that doesn't work head the guy off by creating a barrier in traffic by putting your vehicle in front of them at an angle on either the front right or front left of the vehicle, note that there must be something blocking them from reversing from the situation. This is a typical vehicle immobilization technique.

IMO you should be proactive about this because the next step could be someone waiting in your house when you get home one night...

EDIT: Check out this site and these videos. It is as close to tactical driver training you can get without giving up 4 years of your life.
