Belt question

on my 97 4runner:
when i release the gas pedal and just coast, there is an annoying sqealing sound that goes away when the gas pedal is pressed. the belts look fine to me. could it be a fluid thing??

i have a 98 limited and had that problem. My belts looked fine but were glazed. I had to change the belts and rough up the all the pulleys with 80 grit sandpaper.Its difficult to sand between the inside ridges (^^) and get the troughs so it bites the belt.
The whole re/re is cheap to do but takes a few hrs and solves the squeal.
