Forgive me if I misread this, but did the 285's rub with the OME lift, or was that larger tires you had the rubbing issue with?

How do you like your Dick Cepek tires? I mean a good solid review of them, street, rocks, wet, dry; how did well did they balance? I really like their new "hybrid at/mt" tire they just released and think it would be a good compromise for my truck.

Dick Cepek Tires & Wheels

I really like mine so far. They are great on rocks and the road. They are pretty good at digging the mud and snow (haven't really had much snow to test them thoroughly). They have been wearing evenly so far. They aren't incredibly loud on the highway. I like the looks of the new tread pattern I'll probably get a set of those when my current tires are worn out. But They are really nice if you don't want to go straight mud tires but want the aggressive look and performance of a mud tire. I read reviews and people have said they can last over 40k miles. I probably put close to 10k on mine and they still have a lot of tread left.

Did a couple things to the runner.Went to the junk yard to get a replacement front bumper because mine is rusty and falling appart. Ended up coming home with a rear tube bumper off of a ranger. Was able to make it fit and I think it looks pretty nice. Also my carpet in the back was starting to get really moldy so I just ripped it all out and bedlinered the back. Also Added LED dome lights.

hey man i see that you're running 35s with stock gears. how bad is it right now with them? also do you need to regear to run 35s because i wnt to but dont have the money for that yet. nice rig by the way

I think it drives fine with the stock gearing. I dont bog down at all. I get anywhere from 16-21 mpg depending how much highway driving i do. I dont plan on re gearing

Haven't really done anything to the 4runner but I did hit a milestone.
