Bent/crooked body lift mounts

Was taking the grill off of my 86 to change a headlight, so of course I needed to check out why the bumper was crooked. It appears that the bumper actually wasn't crooked, but instead, the body lift mounts are out of whack. Is this something I should just let go or could the bent frame lead to issues with suspension parts, driveshaft/u joints (which are going out - ping when shifting, crackling/popping when soft speed breaking and transfer of weight)? I bought it in December knowing it had been in some accidents. I've never had it aligned and it needs it. Thoughts? I just got stationed in San Diego so if anyone wants to meet up and explore some of these issues I'm all game.

Thanks in advance

The wet on the photos is PB blaster to get the bumper bolts loosened up.

Holy shit. This is why people recommend avoiding body lifts.

It doesn't look like the body mounts are bent to me, although you'll want to inspect them closely. It looks like the body just shifted on the mounts. I'd take that body lift off completely and see if the body mounts still line up.

Agreed. I'd like to do that, but I think it's above my abilities/tool selection. I'm sure it's just a matter of removing the bolts for the spacers, jacking the body up, removing the spacers, then lowering it back down. I bought it that way and wouldn't have done it myself.

Riff, thanks for the advice and the find. I appreciate you finding one in Pcola, but I just transfer to San Diego! I'll dig one up around here.

Even better! There should be a lot more 4x4 shops out there. Another thought is the Auto-Hobby shop on base. Get some friends, head over, and fix your baby!

Yeah, I found one called the Truck Stop that seems to do good work.

I'll have to check out the auto skills shop. I'm guessing it's on 32nd st Baer because it's not on the amphibious base nor NASNI.

Wait, so is the frame bent too?I cant see the bubble that well. Also, What do the rest of the body mounts look like?

I'm not sure if the frame is bent. I have to assume it is knowing that it had an accident. Oddly, the rest look ok maybe slightly forward. The passenger front looks a little tilted forward and left.
