blacked out the headlights today. was alot easier than I thought it was gonna be.

first I had to take off the black plastic cover. it had like ten plastic clips holding it in, and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them broke. oh well that's what I have zip ties for haha.

Me too man.... actually I had one that didn't break but it broke when I changed to '06 housings. I just finally found some clips the right size to replace those a couple of weeks ago (after 9 months with broken clips holding it). It was only about $2 for all of them at NAPA.

Looks great though! Love the blacked out housings...

did led mod to the front interior lights. 0.01 + shipping (4.00) off eBay for both of them. they look just as bright as the ones I see for twenty each on other sites. oh and a pic if my scion t1809 radio. and another pic of new headlights.

Very nicely done, my only complaint is that I can see you are very passionate about your truck, but what's with the wiring? Looks very poor! Other then that its nice.

not much for offroading around here, unless you know somebody who owns some property. when I was younger (and stupider), me and my friends would ride around when or after it rained and tear up some fields or construction sites. we used to call this "muddin" haha. Illegal and disrespectful. These days I really don't take my truck offroad. I mainly built it for looks. however, there is a badass offroad park in south arkansas call superlift orv park. I plan on going there whenever I convice a couple friends to go with me. it's mainly trails, which I would like to do, and they are all rated by difficulty.

How old are you? I was born in Shreveport and visit my family there fairly often. You might know my cousin, everyone knows him haha.

got dirty last night pulling a jeep
out of some mud.

kinda hard to tell seeing as my truck is dirt colored from the factory haha.

these wheels and tires are AWESOME. the wheels had no mud packed in, and the tires self-cleaned amazingly. at one point I stopped in the middle of the mud, got out and looked at the tires, and the tops had already cleaned themselves out! I was very impressed. much better than my old maxis buckshots.

I plan on blacking out my emblems and headlights as well. Quick question though, when you blacked out the headlights did you use the plasti-dip too or just regular paint? Thanks in advance.

I've heard blacking out your headlights messes with the highbeams brightness, do you see a diff?

Never mind, your headlights are diff than mine, anyone done with with a 07 and up?
