Nissan Titan!

Hey,

The 4runner is an awesome vehicle and its pretty much the only SUV that i even considered. I've been a truck guy. My old ride was a 1997 Ford F-150 XLT. I've included a picture of it. When I was looking around I narrowed it down to the 2004 F-150 FX4, the Nissan Titan, and the 4runner. The 4runner won b/c it was a change and b/c it had AWD and I just felt it was a sweeeeeeet ride

The Nissan Titan, despite being kinda ugly, was a close second thought. I don't want to offend Tundra guys but I thought it the Titan was way better. Its got a sweet V8 and is really well made. However, at the end of the day I'm glad I got the 4runner.

Mikes4runner, does your MR2 have the sequential manual tranny?? I always wanted to try Toyota's version of sequential shifter.

Well I picked up a Lexus RX330 a few weeks ago, so if I am not driving my runner I guess it would be the RX330. I would rather be driving a M5, the X3 and the 2.5XT Forester was fun.

The 4Runner is my only car! If I had a choice of another car to drive, it would be the 2004 BMW X5 4.8is. I would also want the Lexus SC430 as my sports car. I cannot complain though. I absolutely love my 4Runner!!

My other car is a 2001 Lexus IS300, actually its the little ladies car, but I paid for it.

I can't think of another car I would rather be driving, maybe a 4x4 runner.

No Thai mine is the 5 speed they did not offer that in 2001.
Some guys on Spyderchat have said they have had problems with the SMT. But overall the ones that have it like it. Not for me though

'87 saab 900 - really cool, but all backwards and such, i don't know how to work on it.

i really want and fj40 and an early 90's fj80. right now, the better half says that i can't add more vehicles to the stable (no matter how cheap i find them).

Love Affair

I absolutly love my old 4Runner, it looks great, drives nice, and very reliable, but under powered. It needs a v8, maybe out of a newer 4Runner. I`m embarresed to say I also drive a rotten `90 Corsica, just for back and forth to work. Work is close to home, 3 minute drive.

I would love an Enzo!
Realisticaly I wanted an Acura NSX, but a friend bought one and I`d hate to be a follower. Next would have to be an FJ40...but hard to find one in decent shape. I just love open air vehicles that can go anywhere.

i know, it's no fair. girls just don't understand that you need more than one car. the '87 saab i listed is hers. she feels no need to use any other car (which is good - that way she won't roll my 4runner). but i just can't understand it.

with the interest rates how they are, we're thinking of moving to a bigger place. i keep getting excited when we look at houses that advertize "rv parking" in their driveway. i keep saying that if we get a house like that, i'll have a nice big area to park more cars - she's not happy with that plan.

My wife drives a 2003 3.5 SE Altima and I drive the 04 Runner. I am looking into getting a E46 M3 w/SMGII. If that falls through, maybe a E36 M3 convertible (wife likes convertibles).
