Besides your 4Runner, what else do you have in your garage?

Its an "off the 4Runner" topic for a change, but what else do you guys have in your garage? My wife just got rid of her her Kia Koupe for this BMW. She was ready to buy another one that was certified with 34,000 miles and wanted me to go in this past Friday to get the paperwork all done. However I wasn't up for it and asked her is we could go the next day around lunchtime. You could see how disappointed she was but said that is fine, but you could sense the disappointment to say the least. I felt bad but after all I am still recovering from back surgery. Well fate kicked in BIG time and this one was traded in right before closing that night. The next day we showed up and the salesman told her he had another car that she might be interested in instead. Its a certified 328i with only 7800 miles and in perfect condition. Total cream puff and man she pounced on it! Congrats Stephanie Motzer, you worked your ass off for it so enjoy. The only mods I will be doing to this car is getting her a set of 17 inch take off rims for her birthday and darker tint. Its everything she ever wanted. She doesn't care about all the fluff like navigation, sunroof, etc. She just like these type of cars for how they perform on the road, so this purchase worked out really good.

Thanks for the link but it is a bit older, so I think it would be cool to see what other vehicles us 4runner owners have. Whether its the wife's car, a second vehicle or even a daily driver, its interesting to see what other tastes there are. So lets see what you guys have....

Let's see, stuffed in the garage at any given time is one of the 3 vehicles (2002 Tacoma, 1998 Impreza or 1997 4Runner), my 1988 Yamaha WaveRunner 500, 2001 Polaris Scrambler 400, 1985 Kawasaki GPz 550, 3 sets of wheels, 2 sets of tires, a Miller Trailblazer 302 welder/generator, 1986 John Deere lawn tractor, and other various tools and misc. items!

It's packed to say the least!

It is holding me over until I can fund my real garage! Plans are for a 38'X42' behemoth with 3 garage bays and one of those bays having a lift installed.

I highly doubt anyone here is interested in either the TSX or the Leaf.

I daily drive the Leaf and save the 4Runner for wheeling, camping, hauling bikes, towing, etc.

lol...nice, guess I just spoiler mine a bit but really don't have any toys left. However I am in the rebuilding stages, got the house at the lowest ever interest rate, my 4runner and as you can see by the pics my wife's\family highway cruiser.

Funny, I assumed since it's not a 4Runner, there would be no interest. We love it. We did a huge amount of research on this car and quickly realized that people love their Acuras. My wife commutes 60 miles a day in mixed driving and it has never returned less than 29.5 MPG. On the highway we get 34-35 MPG, which is better than the EPA estimates. It's really quiet, handles well, power is pretty good at 201 hp and we couldn't possibly design an interior that is more comfortable and better laid-out in terms of location of gauges and switches.

The engine is very proven and does not have direct injection, which is proving to cause valve deposit problems at a very early age on other cars. We decided to avoid all direct injection cars for this reason. Even the new Hondas have it, so the TSX is one of the last Honda products to not use it, and that is a good thing.

On a recent 3,000 mile roadtrip we were discussing just how great the car is for us and could not come up with even one thing that we don't like about it. It's just a great car. And BTW, we drove 17 hours straight that day and were still comfortable.

Inside my garage is my wife's 02 WRX Wagon. We bought it last year from the original owner with only 57,000 original miles. I can see why the WRX has such a strong following. I have to admit that it is a frigging blast to drive.

In the other garage is my 68 Pontiac Firebird. I've owned this car since I was 16 and I'm 45 now. It has undergone a wide variety of modifications over the years. Currently I have it restored to it's stock form. It rolled off the showroom floor with Verdoro Green paint and a white vinyl top. I am currently removing the healthy 400 to install a NASTY 428. The 428 is bored .030 over with ported 6X heads, flat top pistons, a Comp XE284 cam, roller rockers, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and a Holley 750 carb. HP estimates for the new motor are in the 450HP range with over 500 ft/lbs of torque. I run this through a Muncie M-20 4 speed trans into a 12 bolt rear with 3:73 gears and an Eaton posi unit.
