You should get a skid plate too. It was like $178 from the stealership but it makes it look beefier from the front. I'm keeping mine on until I decide if I should put a black Manik full brush guard on the front.

Have you noticed the auto-up feature for the window to be messed up?

The directions tell you to put the window all the way up, then back down, a few times so it gets used to it. It works fine though.

They were on back order because of quality issues. The guy told me mid-late december, so they better come soon because it's bugging me too.

Yeah they do but they were back ordered. No dealerships could get them unless they already had some left in stock. Have t owait for new supplies from Japan. I guess they had quality issues so they stopped production.

Those are my snowboard racks. -Yakima FatCat6.

I got them because they hold 4 boards, and are more sleek looking than any other rack that I have seen before. They were around $200 but on the day I went looking for them, sport chalet had 20% off of all Yakima products.

Did you encounter "whistle" noise which caused by the gap between the factory rack and the Yakima rack? I have the same Yakima Fatcat6 as yours. It made very loud "whistle" sound when I got up to 55 mph. I had to tape the gap up to stop the noise.

Nope haven't had any noise whatsoever from them.

I wouldn't know, I'm not stupid enough to take a black 4runner through a car wash, or even take it to let other people wash it. I'd rather not get massive swirl marks.:bash: :biggrin2:
