Best All Around A/T tire for 4runner?

Has anyone mentioned the fairly new BFG Rugged Terrain tire?

...they look cool but i can't find any real reviews since they just came out with them.

Whatever tire you choose will look better with the Spidertrax spacers. I was talked into them and am so glad that I was.

Best Tires?

Same as the original question, but noticed this post was a bit dated.

I am looking for a good looking tire that will work on paved roads with the occasional off-road capabilities. Like the original posted question, I mostly drive highway but want something that looks better than the typical stock-tire.

I drive a 2011 4x4 SR5. Everything is stock right now.

Thinking about BFG T/A KOs, Duratracs, and BFG All Terrains (which were new when the post originally began so not much written on those).

Any updated thoughts now that Duratracs and All Terrains have been out longer.

I'm loving my new-ish Toyo AT11's.. Quiet, good mileage, fairly rugged looking, great on 4x4 trails and great on snow and ice. Also, 65k warranty.

there is no perfect tire.

My driving style, ride preferences, suspension and conditions are all different then the next guy. My tire preference is subjective and can be contrary to the next guy. In all reality pick a quality tire and call it a day.

I'm surprised to read all the bad talk about the BFG AT KO's in the rain? I had a set on Chevy Z71 for about 50K mikes and they did fine in the rain however they did suck in the mud. I know they aren't mud tires but I'm not talking about deep mud puddles. Even on a muddy roads they weren't very good. I replaced them with a set of General AT2's which IMO, performed just as well but cost $30-$50 less per tire.

Now with my t4r, I'm in the same boat as the the OP. I want a decent looking, somewhat aggressive tire that's good in the snow and does have some off road ability (for those times when I need it) but 95% of the time it will be on-road and I don't want to kill my gas mileage or on-road performance just for looks or that other 5% of the time.

Right now I'm leaning towards either the Cooper Discover AT3's or the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo2's but haven't ruled anything out yet

I put Falken Wildpeak AT's on my ride and they are great. They handle well in the rain/snow/highway and do great off road. They are not noisy.
