I'm about ready for some new tires, but there are (what seem to be) so many good options out there that I can't decide. I want this poll to be specific to 4runners only. Not to be rude, but I really don't care how a tire performs on your f350. I'm looking for a tire in the $150-$200 range that can handle these scenarios: Daily driven 2 mile dirt road to and from my house (It can get pretty muddy when it rains, and there are also a lot of "pools" of water ranging from 4"-24" deep when it rains. We also see anywhere from 1"-18" of snow every year.), easy to moderate trails (I like to explore a couple times a month, and I hunt about 2 weeks out of the year. The trails I'm on are mostly logging type trails, dry river beds, sand, gravel and shale.) If there's a tire I didn't list that I'm unaware of, I'm open to suggestions. Thanks for everyone's input in advance.

We all like our tires and like to think that what we're rocking is the best, but don't overthink it. Any halfway decent AT tire will handle the sort of driving you're doing, and all of the tires you listed are at least halfway decent if not better. Goodyear, BFG, Cooper, General Grabber, Yokohama, Falken, all good names. Get whichever strikes your fancy, or whichever is on sale.

I got my Duratracs at right around $200 each for 265/75r16. They're C rated so MPG hardly took a hit. They're great in snow and drive very well on the pavement! Off-road they are champions with deep treads. They're even quieter than my old tires on the highway, and my old ones were for the street. Not only that, but they look bada$$! They're a great tire.
I have put about 35000 miles on my federal couragia mt tires and they are barely worn. Balance well and are ridiculous anywhere off road. I know they are Mts and the tread is a fairly aggressive pattern BUT, I drive on 95 to work everyday and am yet to have a problem. And price is pretty damn good

My at3' s have been great in rain and off road. Don't know about snow though, we never get any here.

I really like the Goodyear Duratracs!! I run them on my Rubicon. My brother runs them on pickups... They are quiet on the highway, but look pretty aggressive and handle snow, mud, ice, etc very well!! I will eventually run them on my 4Runner (as soon as I get one...)

Hankook Dynapro ATM
Hmmmmm. Curious. There are very few mentions of the Hankook Dynapro ATM's. Is this because most are not aware they exisit, most think they suck, or????
I chose the Hankook Dynapro ATM of the BFG ATKO primarily due to lower cost and they have worked out well. Does anyone have any further opinions of this tire? I found it to be very comprise to the BFG ATKO IMO.

I've been curious about these too, since they're one of the only LT all-terrains available in 255/75r17.
How are they on ice/packed snow? Tread life?

I assume that by BFG KO you meant the KO2?
It is a significant improvement over the old KO and one of the only AT tires to have snow certification. That expedition portal link unfortunately only includes the older KO which at the time of the review was actually quite an old tire.
Overall IMHO the KO2 is a top tire in the AT category, quiet, good in rain and snow and really great for all the desert type offroading and mid level rock crawliing I've done with them.
