Best basket? roof carrier?

Any reviews on baskets? I know there is a sponsor one but been looking at some other already built ones that are a little lighter, seen someone post their christmas present and now i want one!

Want one i can throw my spare tire on for offroading, BOV approved for gear, possibly carry bikes, maybe even homedepot cargo

Yeah that is the sponsor one i mentioned, as you can see i have been in that thread since the start for the christmas special

The WMW is full length though which is nice if carrying long stuff but still weak up front as there is no support, and only really need to throw spare up there or BOV stuff

Thanks very much everyone. I don't advertise them enough, but i do offer a 3/4 length as well. I am absolutely positive its the strongest rack you can put on your roof and in the words of another forum member who purchased one "i bet you could drive a small car over this thing and not bend it". That comes from using stronger, more robust materials and welding EVERYTHING, they do not bolt together. Just offering a little food for thought, not trying to bash or boast. Unless you are going with some aftermarket crossbars (Yakima or Thule), putting a spare tire in a basket on the roof is a bad idea. I have seen a friend break lots of stock crossbars with his spare in a Loadwarrior. He had 4 crossbars on and still broke them. The ends are just plastic. It looks like the WMW mounts to the roof rails and not to the factory bars.
