Best Deal on 5100 that you know of?

I was curious if anyone knew of a better deal than this for a set of 5100?

I paid $196 for fronts from Summit racing. They matched Carid.com. It looks like that ebay vendor sells them for $204. I didn't price out 4 so I don't know what the rears cost from carid. It sounds like they are in the right ball park price wise. I doubt you will find them for less. Personally I feel more comfortable buying from places like Summit rather than playing ebay roulette.

On a side note, I love the bilsteins. I know you hear that all the time. Being super skeptical I assumed that it was in people's head having replaced a lot of shocks in my time, and never really noticed much difference. These were the one exception. I noticed a big improvement over the stock shock and wasn't like mine were worn.

These have gone up in the past 6 months. In March Downsouth was selling a set for $329.98. Now they are $374.98 if you buy directly from them.


For those in San Diego these guys beat anyone for 5100s installed - $537 plus $60 alignment.

Ok I figured it out. If you go to this link and go down to Rear Shock Options and make the selection the price comes out to $329.99. If you price the front and rear out separately then the price is $374.98. So if you buy a set of four you get a discount and it's cheaper than ebay.

Wherever you buy them from, be sure to buy replacement bushings for the shocks if they're worn or dried out. Sort of pricey depending where you get them. But it does offer peace of mind and a nice new pillow for your billies.
