My weak submission, I just want to belong.eep:
ICON s1 setup with 890s, 285/75/16 Dynapros. Still haven't done anything about sways or bumpstops.
Not a fan of the Taco front but thats a cool not so much seen mod!!
Thanks man, I love how "updated" it makes the front end. It's definitely love or hate with people, there's no in-between.

In these pictures I think I had Icon extended travel coilovers up front with 700lb springs, and light racing UCA's.
In the rear it looks like I had my Icon 2.5" piggyback shocks, OME 861 springs.
No front sway bar, extended rear swaybar endlinks.

I already posted pictures from this spot in my build thread the other day, but I'd like to add these here and point out whats going on with my suspension. Im running stock land cruiser coils and shocks in the rear with 285's. I got out and measured my shocks and found that the passenger side is 1.5" from full compression and the drivers side is 1.375" from full extension. My stock bumpstop isn't even close to touching the axle, which I need to address. My passenger side tire is about 1/8" away from rubbing the rear corner of the body (which I've already trimmed a lot, as well as rolling the fender lip under). So currently, my tires are limiting my up travel and I can't even use the last 1.25 to 1.5" of shock travel that I have available.
It makes me wonder why more people don't run extended travel land cruiser shocks. Unless you're running a body lift with 285's, you can't take advantage of these shocks full travel. And anyone running 315's is going to have even more up travel limitations and the resulting wasted shock travel.

mostly because the valving is far too stiff.
Good point. I didnt think of valving. Although there must be some options that are designed to be run with LC lift coils that have the same spring rate as the stock coils (ie OME 851)
