Best H9 Bulb to replace '06 H11's?

I've been reading up on headlights and since I have an '06, I'm going to try the simple H9 upgrade.

What H9 bulb is everyone most happy with? There seems to be quite a range.

Philips, $8.56 each:
Philips H9 Standard Headlight Bulb,Pack of 1 : Amazon.com : Automotive

Sylvania, $9.78 each (edit: caution, see R.A.'s post below 'Those Sylvania are dual filament. Don't know if they will work.'

I used the Philips from Amazon. Easy mod and the light is an major improvement over the H11. Was disappointed in the stock H11. But when you put the H9 you're using a 65w...

Haven't had anybody flash me yet. Have been considering adjusting them a bit as they seem to be a little high. Just haven't gotten around to it; don't know if it's really needed also. But the light is great - nice bright, wide beam. (More white than stock).

Been on the vehicle since July.

Edit: Did consider going HID, but H9 work well.

Edit 2: Those Sylvania are dual filament. Don't know if they will work.

its a good mod, stock H11 at 1350 lumens vs H9 at 2100, when i did mine, it seemed that different brands are rated for different life spans, at that time, NARVA seemed to have the longest, but im sure the price has gone up now. 15 on sale. H9 bulb

Thanks - I updated my post with R.A.'s caution on the Sylvania. Bought the Philips from Amazon, will post impressions next week.
Chaz - thanks for the info about lifespan, I'm going to try the Philips first and if they let me down I'll look to the Narva's you suggested.

I was just thinking about picking up some H9 bulbs on my way home from work tonight. It's seems like a nice cheap mod for some extra light, especially since it's almost DST. Plus more light is always better right!

philips are usually good bulbs, one thing you may notice is the stock high beams are pretty much the same, a switch to HIRs for high beams can help with that. New Genuine Philips HIR1 (9011) & Philips HIR2 (3rdGen) (9012)

These only work for the projectors in the 06-09 T4R.

philips are usually good bulbs, one thing you may notice is the stock high beams are pretty much the same, a switch to HIRs for high beams can help with that. New Genuine Philips HIR1 (9011) & Philips HIR2 (3rdGen) (9012)

HIRs are great. Used them in my 04.

depends on what your idea of cheap is, 4 years ago the HIR 9011 & 9012 where alot cheaper & could be bought from john deere, then a bunch of people started do the mod & prices went way up.<b><font color =red>HIR SPECIAL... SAVE: $12.00 on a Set of Lo and Hi Beams</b></font color> imo, its an improvement that you might want to consider. heres the difference-

Just to follow up on this - I installed the Philips and they work great!

All I had to do to get the bulb to fit was snip the plastic tab with a pair of angled wire cutters. Like these: Amazon.com: C2G / Cables to Go 38001 Flush Wire Cutter (4.5 InchesRed): Electronics

Then the passenger bulb popped right in, the driver's side needed a little snip with the same wire cutters on one of the metal tabs and a little muscle, but it popped right in, too.

Thanks I will have to check them out, but as for now I just got 2 LO and 2 HI beam sets of lights for free and I put them in the glove box so it will be awhile.
