Best JBL interface kit?

So I'm reading all over the interweb about TATO, Metra, Peripheral, and Scosche interfaces so I can plug my AVIC Z140 into the factory amp, etc. I hear some horror stories about hissing, sound cutting out, lights dimming..... I also talked to an installer that said TATO was the way to go and that the problems come from people not setting them up properly. Anyone have an opinion (based on experience) between these brands?

Thanks!

I used the PAC TATO for a couple of weeks before I installed an aftermarket amp. It worked perfect for me. The people that have trouble with them are the ones that don't follow the directions to set them up. Your head unit does have to have high volt pre-amp outputs though.

I'm about to put mine on ebay. PM me if you're interested.

EDIT: I just looked up your head unit and it does have 4V pre-outs, so you're good to go.
