Best lift for the money?

Looking to lift my 04' limited 3 or 4 inches so I can fit some Goodyear duratracs or toyo mt's on my 18's.

What/where have people done for their 4tunner lift? I would prefer not going to Les Schwab but might have to.

I've heard about people talking about putting FJ coils on, that sounds appealing.

I can spend around 500 bucks maybe. I like the daystar 2.5 kits

It will mainly be driven on road, but I will take it off road a few times a year at least.

Do you have xreas (if not sure read the suspension sticky)? Hours many miles on your 4runner?

Actually not sure if I have xreas or not? Im guessing not, ive had it for a few weeks now and havent seen anything about that.

I did read the sticky (good write up btw) and Im thinking daystar 2.5/1.5 probably.
I would like the ride to be nice and level, I dont really like one end being higher or lower. Coilovers would be nice but spendy for sure.

Its got 80k and probably hasnt ever even seen a trail. (Although the previous owner managed to smash up the skid plate under the engine pretty good).

I saw that you suggested the Daystar 2.5/1.5 for someone else, im going to look into ordering that. Just need to find out about installation now and anything else I might need..

That's pretty low mileage for an 04. If you look at the shocks, if you have xreas there will be a line attached to them. Not all limited models have it so you may not. If you are satisfied with the ride quality and only want it higher and leveled, the daystar 2.5/1.5 would be perfect.

Agreed. The Daystar lift is a great lift for someone on a tight budget. Having it installed however might be double or more of the Daystar price. Amazon has the DS @ about $130.

awesome thanks guys. Im putting some new tires and wheels on tomorrow so if they rub I guess ill be ordering the Daystar kit...
