Not trying to hi-jack the thread...just trying to get my quotes/questions answered. Anything further I will send in a PM.

i dipped my handles probably 6+ months ago. still looks like the day I did it. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF THE DIP! once this stuff cures, it is very durable. just take the time to prep and clean and it will last a VERY long time.

P.S. I only dipped the outer chrome part. I did not take the handles off so it is damn near impossible to get full coverage. Plus I figured the backside is what gets all the friction anyway, so I knew it would be peeling off anyway...plus I like this look anyway

I did my roof rails in the same manner....just dipped the chrome and left the matte grey end caps alone.

How has the plasti dip held up to wear and tear on the door handle?

Personally I love Mojaves, that's what I got, but I must admit those SCS Stealth 6 are about as close as I come to having buyers remorse. Those SCS rims are choice!

Yes sir...still going strong. Has held up to day-to-day opening and closing door and a few wheeling trips on tight trails.

Looks Great! I came across this pic on the internet of the same 22" wheels in silver.... I bet the 20" version would look damn close and a good looking alternative to stock LE wheels. I am fan of 20", personally.

Hello, I am also looking for the same kind of wheels you are, hence my reading of your thread. But since you asked about lift kits, I wanted to mention how happy I am with my ToyTec Ultimate 3" lift. I feel as though my on highway handling is even better than stock and of course the off road performance got a huge boost with the lift and the 285's...

Like others have suggested; it's such a personal preference, but I had the same desire. i wanted flat black and rugged but something you don't see every day and that wouldn't break the bank either.
I went with V-Tech Warlord series, i don't think I've seen these on any other vehicle.

i love the way they turned out! On the other hand, just painting the OEM wheels is a great option...
