Yesterday, I purchased an LED dome light bulb to replace the poor excuse that used to reside in that housing.

For less than $15.00 and about 45 seconds time, including removal from the box, now I can easily see the passenger area.

What's one of your favorite cheap /inexpensive /free mods?

H'mmm, under $500 narrows it down.
How about crossover steering, that was under $500, just.
4.7 crawler gear was too.
Dual ARBs, not even close.

I'm waiting for my LED's to come in, ordered a bunch for the whole interior for under $10.

I haven't done many mods but so far my favorite is adding in a thump in my 4runner. Bass makes me feel good

I added red instrument panel lighting, and also in the inclinometer and temperature control panel. Very cheap, and Looks great.

For my trip to Colorado, I decided to perform an inexpensive mod borrowed from a thread on an alternate forum. I purchased material named Reflectix available at home improvement stores . It feels like tin foil crossed with bubble wrap. It's designed to reflect heat energy absorbed through the roof of your home. The person I got the idea from used it as a privacy barrier for camping. Mine will be used as a way to lessen solar gain on a road trip from NC to CO in an effort try lower the cabin temps/lower strain on the a/c a .engine , and help provide a more inductive environment for my 4 year old daughter and dog to rest on the 5k mile road trip there and back. I will be fitting some to the back glass, and quarter windows.

Where did you order these from. I searched the part number on putocs website but nothing came up.

I ordered them on http://www.superbrightleds.com/. I'm pretty sure you just search up your 4runner year etc. and it filters it out to your vehicles specifications. They came in the other day and I just installed them today. Looks great!

It was a very substantial difference for mine. If you just put them in today, have you had the opportunity to see them in the dark yet?

The trunk light cover is yellowish so it makes the LED seem yellow but I just gotta clean it. Other than that, I absolutely love it.

might need these for your long trip donton

i have one on each door. i went to hardware store and found these ABS pipe ends that fit right into them perfect. but it would interfere with the top half of the door panel. so i trimmed off enough and now it works great. i love it

Yea there is a lack of good cup holding in the '95. Not much seems to fit. I was going to go with the ones that clip onto the door where the window is.
