Best non-motorized aftermarket head unit

The title is pretty self-explanatory. I'm looking for something touchscreen with DVD capabilities and Bluetooth for my 4th gen. I was looking at a pioneer unit but apparently you have to sand away part of the console to allow it to move (-_-).

Have a look at Alpine.
They have a few units that don't have a swing down LCD.

I've always had good luck with pioneer and alpine products. I have an older pioneer touchscreen in my 4runner that is also stationary and has been great. Like you, I didn't want a flip out or folding screen either. Stick with good brands such as pioneer, alpine, kenwood, etc, and you shouldn't have a problem.

I like the Parrot Asteroid Smart. A few members here have them installed.

I love my Parrot Asteroid Smart, but if you are wanting DVD playback it won't work for you. There is no DVD drive.

So I've narrowed it down to the following:

Pioneer AVH-X3500BHS 2-DIN Multimedia DVD Receiver with 6.1 WVGA

or

Sony XAV64BT 6.1-Inch Touch Screen Bluetooth AV Receiver with Pandora Control


Also, anyone have any experience with this type of backup camera, or know if it's usable with any of the above?
