Finally got my TRD Pro the other day. I want to get the 8 year 125k zero deductible warranty from Toyota and just found out I can't buy them from a dealer out of state like I was planning on?

Does anyone know which dealer in California offers the best prices on Toyota not third party extended warranties?

Is that a California thing? Because I got that same warranty (8yr/125K) for $800 from a mid-west dealer.

Not a California thing. Dealers complained to Toyota corporate and Toyota shut down the idea of people buying extended warranties over the internet or phone. This happened about two years ago.

I got nothing bad to say about the dealer I bought my TRD Pro through, no BS, no games. He told me that dealers can't sell out of state customer warranties as of 2013 and to Google the info myself... After I did my homework he told me to call him back and to tell him what the best price I can get and he will beat it or match it.

Smart. That's exactly what I did. It works well as long as you deal with it while negotiating for the 4R. After the fact you have no leverage.

Since your truck is new and is within mfg warranty, you can buy a service contract from anywhere. Make sure you buy an exclusionary policy that's backed by an A rated insurance carrier. I can get you an unlimited time (no date expiration) 100k, 125k or 150k that would be accepted at any reputable repair facility in the US.
