I just bought an '02 T4R and the tires on the truck right now are waaaaay to small (225/75). Anyway, I'm looking to get some new bigger tires possibly Goodyear Fortera Triple Treds....any suggestions on brand and size?
best size tires for an '02 2wd SR5

Are you running 15" or 16" rims?

Most likely 15" seeing as he's got the 2WD and 225's....you and me of all people should know! :cry2:

oh lol.
I had 30x9.50x15LT when i got it.
it was maybe 5 months when i got 265/70/16s.
I suggest 265/75/16's of BF Goodrich All Terrain T/As. They're insane tires, but are pretty pricey. Well worth it, though, from what I've heard. I will be getting them when I change tires.
If you want though, this is the perfect time to swap to a larger rim, which I would at least want a 16". Try craigslist.org.

Yeah, I've been thinking about getting different rims. I'm really leaning towards just getting the 5 spoke off an LTD or the ones off a Tundra. I'm really not tryin to get into the BFG AT's because they cost an arm and a leg and my truck is 2WD. Maybe a less agressive tire ,but still in the AT cateogory.
