Best SoCal off road parks/trails

I just moved to Pomona from the SF bay area and wondered if there were any people here from SoCal that could point me to some cool back roads through the wilderness. I visited the San Gabriel off road park already and that was cool, but i prefer trails through the middle of nowhere. Anyone know of or been on trails like these in the area?

If ur in pomona ur not far from the BigBearLake/GreenValleyLake area. Lots of great trails up there. From mild green circle forest service roads to hardcore black diamond runs like John Bull and Dishpan Springs. Ur like a half hour away from some of the best 'wheelin in socal.

Where can I find some maps for all the forrest service roads? I've been on some forest roads near Union Valley Res. in the Sierras that I ran across while camping, but I've never really been able to find maps of the places.

Having spent my summers up there in my youth cuz my parents owned a cabin in GVL, i never needed maps. I grew up riding the trails there. What i could find was a website OHMVR . Also a number to the Mountain Top Ranger District 909-383-5588. Hope this helps for now. I'm gonna look through some boxes in the garage for some more info and i'll get back to u.
