The Classic Silver Trail Edition is the model that I really want... it wasn't an option when we were purchased our SR5 as it was significantly more money and we don't off-road so the TE goodies would be wasted.

I wish they offered a 4R with the comfort of the Limited, and the looks of the Trail...

BP FTW!

When I bought my TE in 2011, there was only one pre-tsunami unit available in BC, and it happened to be Mag Gray. If I'd had a choice I would have gone for silver, but have since decided I like Mag Gray the best of the TE colours. That Blizzard Pearl sure looks good on SR5s and Limiteds, though.

Only reason I could see Toyota having for not making a white TE would be that they wouldn't sell any more LE's.. They have to know it would look good. Maybe they're just saving it for a couple special editions. Either way I wish I had one

Whatever Color you Pick

It's offroad worthy off the showroom floor but You still have to lift it and put a bunch of $hit into it and make it look Trick and Perform even Better than Stock. I have climbed some SERIOUS Pacific NW Mountain Harshness Elk Hunting in this TE! Silver is way Easier to Keep Clean than any other color, Check out the filthy SALSA RED TE above this. Black, Grey, Salsa are all Dirt Showing colors, I am happy with my Silver. The Lowest Maintenance Color I have ever owned in my 30 yrs of Driving... :trophy:

I'll be honest here, I never really cared for Salsa Red. My chief(a member on here) told me he was getting a TE in Salsa Red, I thought it would look awful. He got it, it looks awesome with the blacked out grille and all that stuff, I don't think it's a good color on a model with chrome, but on the TE it looks good! As much as I like black, I'd have to say white is the best. And no that's not because I have a white 4runner myself, I think that picture someone posted makes the white look awesome!

As long as it isn't silver (way too common a color on all cars) I would take any color but Salsa red would be my fav unless they had a return of Jade Mica.

Km2's

Balcs1 off-topic, but: how do those BFG KM2s behave in the snow? did you get them siped?

They perform good in snow and mud off road and rocky, Not siped. If I had a need for a siped a tire I would get the Duratracs and run them stock with just the factory siping. If you are taking it offroad in rocky terrain Siping can chunck pretty bad, I watched what happened to my brothers Land Cruisers Siped Tires while he ticked off the miles, the Duratracs look like a great tire to me for snow and icy conditions for an all terrain tire.
