Best time to buy ??

Folks,

It took some hunting on google, but I found the forum that I was looking for. Great job!

I am finally ready to buy and have been checking out dealers locally here in Norcal. They have some rebate/ financing deal, but choice in color/ options is low.

Since I am not in a tearing hurry to buy it, can someone tell what are the typical times that Toyota Financing has great deals like 0% *long* term financing or special rebates ?

If TMC, does not offer these current rebates frequently, maybe I should be in a hurry to buy this before the deal closes.

One Year after the First released date will be good if you can wait.

You can get around $2000 rebate for a brand new 4Runner. However, you have less choice.

Or you can pay closed attention on holidays sale.

The best time to buy is around September-October because that is when the new models are just released. The dealers want to get rid of the older models so they can make room for the new ones. They offer you great deals on the older models just so they can get them off of their hands.

When I got my truck in September 2003, they couldn't get the 4Runner I really wanted (V8 Pacific Blue SR5). They had 3 2003 silver sport's sitting on the lot and need to sell them. They asked if I was interested in one on their lot and gave me a great deal.
