I use it dry -- works really well and fast. The handle makes it easy to control and the pointed end gets in all the corners.spyne said:I use this also and have had good luck using it with just a little "Invisible Glass" sprayed on it.
eh, if you have non-printed newspaper, or one printed without a water-based ink, yeah.. otherwise, the ink comes off, and all over the windshield and hands.. i've tried it, i still think microfiber is the best at not leaving streaks, combined with a good foam glass cleaner.. my opinion though..RaysMD said:yes, yes, crumpled newspaper is actually very good. Much easier to use than a microfiber. It won't slip off your hand as easily. Best kept secret.
See if this link has any hints that you could use.delzo said:Anyone have an idea on why I'm getting a "haze" from my microfiber towels? I wash them only with other microfibers do not dry them with a cling free sheet of any type. I have tried 3 different glass cleaners and it is definitely the towels.
The windows look great until dark and then every wipe mark shows up. Buffing with a clean tee shirt takes care of the problem but it's sort of a hassle. Is there a better way to clean the microfibers? Darn I bought $35 of the hand towel size and hate to use them as grease rags!
