best way to get baked-on road grime and brake dust off my wheels?

there are some discolored areas on my sport wheels and i want to get them looking fresh again. any suggestions? thanks!

meguiars super degeaser is the best bet. super cheap, and super effective.

Jumped all over this thread as soon as I saw "best way to get baked on road....."
All jokes aside, I just washed my rims with good car shampoo and scrubbed them clean before I PD'd them.

They look great after 2 winters. This will be the 3rd.
