Best way to organize and add storage in the back (+fridge)

I've been trying to figure out what I want to do to the back of my 4Runner now that I have the ARB Elements fridge. Options include:

1) Drawers with the fridge on an ARB tilt slide
2) Drawers with the fridge on a drop down slide so it comes down a bit more to access it
3) #1 or #2 sitting on a Bedside so it all slides out
4) Fridge on a tilt or drop down slide on one side and single or dual-drawer on the other.

Leaning on #2, but interested to get feedback.

I'm not sure I like the drop down slides. Seems like there is a lot of weight and things that can go wrong with lots of usage and time. Being a taller guy does have advantages so I can see how the drop down mount look good to some people.

There's lots of pics on the forum of fridges and how they are mounted. Personally I just prefer it to be mount on top of the ARB roll out drawers and be done with it. Even then I get concerned about the weight when it's rolled out.

You saw my set-up in the dometic fridge group buy. I have no concerns with the Clearview drop down slide in terms of weight of the fridge or using it long term. A drop down slide does weigh a fair amount itself and takes up about 2-3" additional room on all sides of the fridge. These are the only negatives that I have come across so far.

I’ve had drawers, slide outs and numerous cargo floors in other rigs. I went with simplicity this time. Conduit rails secure the fridge and gear, while Rago Fabrication racks hold a few recovery and other items. A Raingler net helps keep the stuff in the back from coming forwards.

It’s working great, and keeps the back clear for daily driver duties.

Yeah, that's similar to how mine would look as the next step without the drawers or fridge slide. I can keep my sub back there too and not worry where all the stuff from a large Costco trip can go.

What are the rear hatch facing straps mounted to? Did you add anchor points?

Yes. 4x Stainless Footmans and #12 screws. These have been solid bouncing around the Colorado Rockies and Banff quite a bit until we decide if a slide or drawer may be in the plan.
