Hello 4Runner fam, I got some general grabber AT2 tires today 265/70/17 and am rubbing hard on the control arms when I turn. I'm going to get some wheel spacers and need suggestions on what is the best brand that holds up. Only looking to go an inch maybe 1.5

i got the all pro 1.5 inch ones with the extended lug nuts for my 2007..

spidertraxx is 1.25 inches I believe.. maybe they offer 1.5 now... but if you have the pre 06 1.25 rear is flush.. with the 06 and newer 4th gens 1.5 inches is flush in the back because of the wider flares..

needless to say i am thrilled with the 1.5 all pros.. looks and handles great

I have an 07 sport so that works out perfect

This is a good question and there is no right answer.

mizak82 knows his stuff... I would go with what he said...

cannot go wrong with either spiders or all-pro.

I use the spider 1.25 spacers with no issues.

Where did you get extended lugs? I've been looking for some myself but I haven't found satisfactory ones yet.

Yowza. You're paying as much for those as you are your spacers lol

I'm not using spacers, i have wider axles.
These Lugs allow use of high quality aftermarket wheels with thicker mounting surfaces at the base.

arp is a high quality fastener mfg. , you get what you pay for :)

I realize this is an old thread but maybe some of you guys are still around.
For the spacers, how much spacer is needed to avoid having to cut down the original studs. I guess I can pull a wheel and measure the stud but I thought y'all might already know the answer to the questions.
