better-than-OEM oil filter?

Oil smell test ever hear of it ever use it.
Filters only filter out solid particulates filter size doesn't matter. No filter of any size
filters diluted contaminates courtesy of EGR or PCV, smell gas on dipstick or from drain pan
your running oil too long. Oil diluted by condensed gas vapors is not good.
Couple times I've tried Syn oil/milage my engine/driving habits smell telling a bad idea.
Works same with Rotella T4 10w30 D3 3-4k mi interval no smell I'm good works for me.
Milage ratings - Lab - new engine - controlled conditions - not real world.

The V6 reman from Gearhead ( LQK) came w/o an oil pan. The "two tub" oil pan had me scratching my head - i'm the guy who built in windage control in every engine ( all Chevy) i have built.

My take-away is that FREQUENT OIL CHANGES ARE CRITICAL with this wonky axle goes thru it oil control system.

Secondly, with my BBC experience we are running out of good US made filters,a dn this includes the WIX which are now foreign. Not all foreign is bad, I ran Indian made MANN filters in my MBZ diesel.

I still have a supply of WIX for both the Chevy 454 and the 5VZ, but will switch when i run out.

Baldwin or Purolator for the rat , ASSUMING both are still domestically made. And good ol OEM Toyo and Baldwin ( PS 5VZ is Baldwin PN#B1405) for the 5VZ

Hey, the only spark plugs I buy are Jap-made $$ NGK. so not all foreign made is rubbish. THis for my 454 and LS cars to boot, not just the Toyo.
