Bf goodrich all terrain ko 2

Hey now,

Im new here and need some pro advice on tires.

Here is my question/ dilemma.

I have a 2013 Toyota 4runner Trail KDSS on Dunlop AT with 20000 miles, and need to upgrade to something better so I narrowed it down BF GOODRICH All Terrain KO.

Here is the problem BF GOODRICH is releasing new ALL TERRAIN KO2 on November 1st, but according to the spec sheet they wont produce 265/70/17 until March 1st which is my OEM size.

My question is can I up size on the tire my OEM is 265/70/17 and the only 17 that the new BF GOODRICH ALL TERRAIN KO2 comes in is 275/70/17.

My concern is with width because my Trail has KDSS and just generally there is a lot of metal working there so I am concerned about rubbing.

Also concerned about voiding the warranty if I go off OEM size, because we know how the stealer is when it comes to service at Toyota.

Anyway, any help would be great.

At this point I am leaning just to go with the original All Terrain KO but damn that All Terran KO2 looks bad ass.

I would not be concerned about a 1/2" change in tire size. There is that much variation between tires of the same size often.

Changing tire size does not void the warranty.

Stick with the tried and true 265/70/17's that our out now I have them on my 11 trail with KDSS nav etc... Have 40 k on them still look new never buy brand version when comes out imho haha

So, as much as I'm rooting for bfg, the ko2 looks to me like it's just the ko with some shit on the sides to make it more "blingy". Did they make any meaningful changes to the tread pattern? It didn't look like it from the pics, but these things can be subtle.

The BFG website goes into some detail about stronger sidewalls, the purpose of the sidewall pattern, longer wearing treads and better siping for weather traction. So the KO improved, nothing radical but a better overall tire I would guess, visually it's definitely a BFG though
