Well I got a new dog recently and she chewed through my superflow carry bag and the air hose. While working on the hose I figured I'd put in a new more accurate air guage. I got a slime one but when I installed it the needle moves all over the place while the compressor is running.

I've tried two gauges and they both do the same thing. The actual pressure is between the two needle extremes, but does anyone know how to calm the needle down? Do they all work like this?
