Agree with the majority.
BFG are great tires for up to medium off roading. I had good expereince in the snow. It carries the snow flake symbol. Good in the slop, but it is not a true mudder. It is quite acceptable in street use, but it is not a great street tire. BUT....and it's a big BUT....you will get fabulously long life out of them. They will last 70-100k miles.
Of course, the last 30k will be somewhat noisy, rumbles, and you start losing grip in wet and snow conditiosn as the tread wears down.
If you want a LT C tire for 265/70/17, there is not much out there. If you want an LT C with tested snow and wet capability as endorsed with a snow flake symbol, there is even fewer tires to select from.
As much as I like them, I can't wait for the mto wear out. I've gotten 52k out of them and I still have 10/32 on the treads! Will sonsider teh Goodyear SA or the LEs Schwab Wild Country XTX Sports or Cooper ATR--all in Lt C grade.
