Same here unless they decide to discount the original KOs a good deal. But I'm not expecting much discount at all on those anytime soon. They still can hardly keep the KOs in stock out here in the TX oilfield.

I was able to order the 265's in load range C on Monday 5 minutes before the local Discount Tire store closed. This allowed me to qualify for the $200 MIR for using their card (ended on Monday).

Now I'm just waiting for them to show on the truck.

Damn, I should've ordered some as well. I want to replace the Hankooks on my 4th gen that have over 70k on them before I go to CO in May.

Just an update...As expected, Summit kept pushing back their expected arrival dates for the 265/70/17 Load C KO2. No fault on their end, as the tire isnt listed out until March 1st. They did update me last month, saying the tires were going to be expected in the middle of March, and gave me an offer to cancel due to waiting so long.

I just spoke with Tire Rack, who will be getting a shipment in early of 265/70/17 C KO2. They were able to take a pre-order for me. Shipment should arrive to them on the 25th, and be to me by the 27 or March 2nd...225/tire plus shipping. Good thing, as I just got a staple near the sidewall of my stock tires, so I'm running the spare now. Just figured I would give everyone a head's up to those who are waiting on the stock size KO2s.

With much internal conflict lol..., Duratracs at 265C or BFG's at 275E, I got off my arse tonight. 4Wheel Parts, $756.00 with shipping, KO2's! Figured my wife has been driving her 2001 with 33" E's on an OME coil lift for years, with no complaints. So KDSS & future Bilsteins, she should be fine. Now if I can just get her to look when she presses the heated seat dial, and not put down the rear window lol. So for those interested $188 each, $32 delivery, minus another $50 sale price event. (2/23). I have purchased three previous sets of tires for my Jeeps from them with no problems. Best of all, co-worker buying my stockers for $450.

Hmmm...I'm not seeing the $50 discount even after adding four (275/70/17) to my cart. When you bought it did it have the red discount wording right next to it?

Hello, same here at first. I clicked on sales event banner, 2/23 midnight event specials/deals. $50.00 off select tires. Found the tire, $188.00, entered zip, got shipping, observed final cost $798 delivered. So just like before, I called, spoke with sales direct, asked about sales event posted, I was placed on hold, then he returned, and quoted me the $756 price delivered. So I gave them my Amex..., zoom zoom. Since then I have been greedy, and searched for a rebate or visa card, but nothing other than a Tire Rack direct. Let me know if you find something.

got my KO2's in load range C

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum but have been lurking for a while. I picked up a 2014 Trail w/KDSS in November.

Grant from the Tire Rack hooked me up with one of the first sets of 265/70/17 KO2 in load range C. They showed up today, and I'm getting them installed tomorrow. I was really surprised and excited to get them before March 1st.

I'm a tire geek when it comes to on-and-off road motorcycles and autocross in my MX-5. I don't have much AT tire experience, but will share my impressions of these if anyone is interested.

My KO2 265/70/17 Load C showed up last night, and were installed today. Huge improvement over the stock P rated tires. Oddly enough, they weigh a few lbs less than my stock tires did, so the mpg hit shouldn't be as bad. Road noise is minimal; I have the in channel vent visors which make a ton of more wind noise than anything. Virtually no new road noise is heard.

Even though this is my first AT tire and first LT, I can easily tell they belong on the 4Runner and vis versa. I painted my stock Trail rims the other day, and the combo looks awesome.

blah.................... so happy for you all.................. lesson learned "if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't true. Wondering where are my 275's I ordered from 4WheelParts.. "We have them in stock, you will see them in 7-10 days". Now after promised call backs, I find out back order 3-6 weeks from BFG..... probably focusing on ^^^^^ orders now. So maybe I'm slated for phase three .., not lol. Ohh btw, ^^^^^ those look sweet.:hurt:

I'd go with 265 C's. I was actually debating the exact same thing and for what I intend to do an E would be overkill along with the negatives of having a heavier and stiffer 10 ply tire. It depends on what you want to do really. I think if you're coming from a P-rated tire and you have to ask yourself if you need a C or E rated tire then you probably don't need the E and the logical choice is C rated. My 2 cents
