Looks good man. What lift are you running? On your build thread you said you needed a body mount chop for these tires?

Thanks. I'm running a 3" OME lift. I definitely needed the bmc. I would rub at full wheel lock either side. I dont run spacers either. My wheels are 8.5" wide with a - 6 offset as well.

You can tell I'm a newb. I had Discount Tire fit 275/70/17s on my stock rims, and they worked, but one side was going to possibly rub.
So, I decided to stick with 265s. But I've always liked these cheap American Outlaw Ranger wheels. They are 8.5" with a -6 offset. Had some on my Tacoma. Removed the mud flaps and still had better clearance than the 275s on stock rims.
Did tires and wheels. Got E load BFGs at 180 per tire, and the 4th free. Got the wheels for $102 each, and the 4th free. Discounts on lifetime balancing, etc, and $60 per tire for my Duelers. I like the slightly wider stance and E load for reducing the lean in turns. Good deal overall!

I just used this link to send to discount tire and got them to price match the tires for me. Listed here they are $202. Discount tire did 4 for $800 and gave me an additional $50 discount. Discount Tires listed price was $242 a piece. So what was originally on Discount Tire's site for $968 is being shipped to my door for $750.

I just had Costco install the 265/70/17's on my 2010 limited. bailed on the 20" rims and got the grey TRD rims in 17. No issues with Costco installing a different size but the 17's are pretty spot on spec wise. Only issue is that Costco says they need to be inflated to 50 psi. These are the C rated tires so I find that hard to believe. It rides ok but I'm going to drop the psi so the sensors go off. Costco said i'd have the get it reprogrammed for the higher pressures. What's everyone running for PSI on these?
ps- i'll post up a link for the 20" rims when I get them cleaned up and ready to go.
I assume you have 17" rims not 16s right
Regardless some people have rubbing issues and others don't. The differences have mainly to do with where you are in the range of alignment specs. The worst case is that you just have to do a fender liner mod which just involves moving the plastic liner forward and re-positioning the screws.
I am surprised that they recommend 50psi. I have the 275/70/17 which are E rated and I have them set at 44psi which gives me a great ride.

Discount recommended I run them at 40. Ride seems good doesn't seem like I'm getting too much sidewall bulge or flex.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to air down from the 50 and take some measurements to see when they start to ride evenly across the tread.
Anyone know about the factory settings for the TPMS? Does it go off for over inflation and ifso at what setting? My sensor is fine in the morning but goes off about when I get to work. Trying to figure out if it's over pressure or Costco didn't reset them properly. The behavior is the same as what happens when I swap summer to winter and haven't reset the sensors yet. The rig was still set for winter sensors when the new rims and sensors were installed.

On Friday I traded in my stock Dunlop tires for a set of BFG KO2s. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet they are, even on the freeway. Only slightly more noise than the stock tires.
I've had BFGs on my previous vehicles (Isuzu Troopers) and they were always louder than the stock tires. I guess they've tweaked the design recently to make them quieter.

I had my BFG KO2 265/70/17 installed at Costco last weekend. They inflated the tires to 32psi of nitorgen which I though was a bit low. What is the consensus for inflation pressure on tires this size?

The tire manager at Costco refused to sell me any form of KO2's indicating that I would not be satisfied with the quality of the ride and that I would attempt to return the tires. He instead tried to sell me tires by Michelin. I guess their shop was getting a nice kickback from Michelin. I went to the store manager and complained about the uneducated tire shop manager. He was then forced to order and install the tires that I requested, KO2's. I wonder if he was steering people to Michelin on his own or if he had been directed to by management. In any event, I have had my tires since January and I don't have a single complaint. The tire reviews at Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels were accurate. Its a superb tire and should be the standard from the factory.

The Costco in Eagle CO in the mountains told me if I wanted a larger size on my TRD Pro they would do it, I haven't purchased tires yet but have been told when I'm ready they will do 275/70/17 KO2's when I'm ready
