BFG K02s @ 4WheelParts

I ordered a set on Saturday....and received the "backordered" email from 4Wheelparts yesterday.

Late last night, I received another email from 4WheelParts that the tires had shipped via UPS.

I checked the UPS tracking numbers this morning, and they are "Out for Delivery".

They must have already been local to DFW...
 
I just put in an order for mine, we'll see how it goes.

If need be, I can always bring in the order to a local Discount Tire and have them honor it if I don't see them soon.

Ordered mine the other day, got a call not long after from the local 4wheel parts store with the heads up that they were back ordered. He couldn't give me an eta, even said that they contacted Michelin to see how long it would be until they could get a shipment, and Michelin told them that they were back ordered to, so it would be a while. :faint: I called up Discount Tire Direct, and they honored my price even though the sale was over. Canceled my order through 4wheel, and discount shipped my tires today. :bounce:
 
Dang, this is a good deal, but I can't. I'm getting spendy on so many other things. So tempting though! Especially with some TRD wheels...

Just curious, how much do our stock wheels and tires sell for (with about 3,000miles)? (something to keep in mind for when I'm ready)
 
Just talked to 4 Wheel Parts about my order... Back ordered with no ship date in sight. However, the store here in NC is receiving a shipment of 36 tires tomorrow. So, luckily, I'll have mine installed on Monday. The tech at 4WP said there was a back order of several thousand tires. Michelin waits until their national back order is at 20,000-25,000 tires and then will produce a batch of 40,000. Not sure if he knew what he was talking about. Just passing along info...
 
Arrived in the mail today! But got the backorder email on Monday??

So I'm not sure what is going on with the back order issue... I ordered mine last Friday, them got the back order email on Monday saying they were back ordered for 5-8days.

But then yesterday I got a tracking label, and they were at my doorstep today!!

They look SO sweet, can't wait to get them installed!! :becky:
 
Just picked them up and got them mounted. Unfortunately, won't be able to take them of pavement for the next couple weeks due to being out of the country.

Now that I got my tires, lift will probably go on when I return. Cheers guys
 
^^^ Damn. I wish my 5th gen needed new tires. I can't justify replacing the stockers at this point as much as they suck esp since the wife drives it most. On the bright side, the tires on my 3rd gen were about done and this deal seemed pretty damn good, so she's getting new shoes!!
 
Just got our tires from DT yesterday and I'm stoked to get them on our spare set of TE wheels. Stock looks pretty good on the Mag but my wife wants me to black them out.

Thanks OP for the heads up. 4WP had my 265's on backorder but I was able to pricematch through DT. Very excited for the new tires!

glad u got it done, for anyone else who may be worried about a back order email: i ordered day 0, got back order email day 1, got a shipped email day 2 and a KO2 came rolling up to my door by the end of day 2. :noidea:
what i do know is my trucks ass is about to get chunky

Looks great what size are they ?
 
Man in brown delivered these yesterday - A set of 275/55R20. They look so much meatier when compared to the stock 245/60 Duelers.

Now I have to find a tire installer who will be OK with installing them on the 7" LE rims. I would have ordered from Discount Tire but they wouldn't sell or mount them once I told them it was for an LE.
