I highly doubt 285 will fit, unless you do a lot of cutting, etc...

I'm pretty sure 275 fits stock so with your 2.5" lift you should be fine.

Yeah I think 285-75 will fit. I have a 3 inch lift and have plenty of room with an arb and winch. There's one guy on here that has 285/75 with no lift at all.

the tire sizes for a 275-70-16 is 31.2 diamneter and 11.1 wide the tire size for the 285 75-16 is 32.8 diameter and 11.4 wide

the tire dealer seems to think that 285 will fit but i dont want them to rub

285's should fit no problem.

I have 305-70-16 (33x12.5) on a 16x10 wheel which rubs a little at full lock/full compression.

My buddy has a 32x11.5 on 16x8 wheels with no rubbing at all.

We both have the 2.5" Daystar lifts. Both are '97s.

Go bigger, you'll regret it if you don't.

BTW - I'm running Mickey T's and he's running BFG A/T KO.

i ordered the 285s man have they gotten expensive in the last 2 years ,, I bought them for my truck 2-3 years ago for 170 each now they 220 each .....WOW

Put tires on today and 285 will fit with a 2 1/2 daystar lift ,,,, about 1'' cleareance between tire amd frame when the wheel is cut all the way ....it looks good i will post pics soon

they should fit but don't expect much room to play with, I got my 285/75s off of craigslist, 4 new for like 600!
