Have a set on my 01 too. They are great.
Seem to better in the rain and the snow then the previous KOs.
They ride a lot nicer too.
I guess Michelin is more involved in BFG these days..
Looks like a lot of weight on the outside lip. Did they have trouble balancing? And have you actually put some miles in different terrain or are you just saying you recommend them because you like how they look?
Most tire installers just put the tire on the wheel wherever, and throw on as much weight as needed to achieve zeros. Very rarely will an installer attempt to optimize a wheel and tire assembly. That is if they even know how.
I purchased these about a month ago and I love them! I had KM2's before and wouldn't go back. These are way quieter and they do really well in the snow, I've tried them out these past couple of weeks. I got 285's and the dealership said it was hard to balance and align them because of the size. I don't know why they are only 33's but they ride really nice.
The 285s are e-rated, yes?
