Big 3 Upgrade

I have a 2005 4Runner V6 and the ground wire from the negative battery cable that goes to the body snapped. the Toyota guys are going to repair it but i was looking into this big 3 upgrade which should help ground the vehicle a lot better and help in performance from what I read. i would like to do this but don't want to screw it up. does any one have pictures that they have done or a video. I have seen other videos on different cars and people do it differently so i am looking for the exact for a 2005 4runner. any help would be appreciated.

I ended up doing the big 3 on mine. Purpose was mostly due to the audio system, but also so that I could run a different battery with swapped +/- locations. The negative is too short to stretch to the other side of the battery to be able to use a "backwards" battery, plus it was frightenly small in gauge.

I didn't remove or modify any of the OEM wire paths. Those that seemed too small I just ran an additional run with new wire. For the grounds I used 2 gauge since I used the OEM's and also added additional locations. I added a 0 gauge run from the alt to the battery but left the small OEM wire run on the alt that ran to where ever it goes.

I didn't want to do too much in terms of replacing the OEM wire runs since they may have run through relays, fuses, or other electronics.

I did this on my car, but neither of my 4Runners because of warranty, but I would imagine you can just trace the existing runs like offroader said.
