Big Bear

I went with a few people from TTORA on a run to Big Bear. The weather said partly cloudly skies, and well it started to snow around 12:00 or so. Here are some pictures that i took. It eventually turned in to a giant clusterf@#$. A few people got stuck after the snow drift kept getting deeper the farther we went.

Enjoy

Dang..I gotta get on TTORA more often, I would have liked to join this trip.

Was anyone using chains on the trails?

Once everyone got stuck, two people put them on. I could not find a set in time before i left. I chanced it, and went.

I know they are doing another run in Red ock Cyn area, above Mojave. I tempted to go there if funds allow.

my favorite photo was the one showing the outside temp and that the heater flow was directed to your feet! :p

Tennis shoes dont do well once you go up to your feet in snow. They just hold water :D
