Great report!! I can't stress how awesome that places is. So many people know very little about it, and it seems best to keep it that way. Like I said before, I live in Houston, but I make that trip all the time to take pictures, run, and hike.

I don't know if you been up to Guadalupe Mountains national Park but it's definitely worth the drive.

Thanks! My wife and I are going to make another trip just the two of us next fall (spring is getting full of activities already!). I was looking at the Guadalupe Mountains National Park online a few days ago - looks like I will need to make a trip there as well.
