I guess I can start a little build thread now, but first a little background on me. I have worked for Toyota for 11 years now, and think I have found the vehicle I actually love to drive. I have owned a lot of Toyotas in the past 11 years, and my favorites to date have been the FJ and 4Runner. I traded in my 2014 FJ to get into this 2015 Trail Edition 4Runner and I think I made the right decision....especially since my wife still has the 2012 FJ at the house.

Now onto some pics

Here is my wife's 2012 FJ she has named Snowflake. The top pic is about 1 week after we got it with just some 295's. The bottom pic is about 2 months ago with Rough Country Lift, 295/75/17 Toyo Open Country MT's, 1.25" spidertrax, N-fab front bumper, a couple of lights, and fender removal.

And with the Houston FJ Group



This was my 2014 Fj...Rough Country lift, 285/70/17 Toyo Open Country AtII's, and thats about it.


Now onto my 2015 TE 4Runner
Day one: It's stock

Day two: Started installing the Toytec Boss Ultimate Lift with UCA's and 285/75/17 Duratracs.






Day 3: Time to get it aligned and check the stance





Day 4: Didn't like the stance, so added Spidertrax 1.25" spacers




I am sure we will have more pics as progress continues.

Did you experience any rubbing on those 285/75/17 Duratracs? Also curious, where did you find them in that size. They are not even listed on Goodyears website lol

My bad...They are the 285/70/17s. I edited my first post to correct that.

The tires rubbed after I put the spacers on, but my guy did the BMC and they don't rub at all now.
 
I'm probably partial being I've got the same truck ha, but damn that looks great! You've done in 4 days what will take me a year, and I've had mine 6 months ahead of ya :thumb3:

Curious, did you drive it any stock? I loved the Duratrac 285's on my F350, but they were sure heavy... wonder what it does to the 4Runner drivability if anything. Mine's my daily driver so trying to balance this go around.

Keep us posted, excited to see where you take things!

Thanks a million!

I did not drive mine in stock form, but i have driven a ton of them with work.

The MPG went down a little but the thing drives like a dream.
 
Haven't added anything yet...but did order the Southern Style Speed Hybrid Bumper, just waiting for it to come in. I did get to do just a bit of wheelin though...







I didn't get into anythnig to rough, but still had a good time. I'll post up more as I go.

SSS builds a killer product and EHEO is a stand up company in my book based on customer service alone. I would gladly do business with both companies again.
